Origin and cultivation:

This red wine comes from the picturesque mountains of Sant Joan, located 300-320 meters above sea level in Ibiza. The grapes are sustainably cultivated on soils consisting predominantly of marl, sandstone, and conglomerate.

Grape varieties and production:

A harmonious blend of grape varieties such as Monastrell, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon gives the Black Nose wine its unique character. The wine undergoes pre-maceration, maceration, and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 to 15 months of aging in used French oak barrels.

Aroma and taste of the Black Nose:

The Black Nose wine presents itself with a clear, brilliant light ruby red color with dark reflections. Its aroma of ripe red berries, a hint of clove, and a hint of roasted bacon is captivating. On the palate, it unfolds an aroma of ripe and fresh red berries, accompanied by a balanced blend of tannins and pleasant acidity. The long, smooth finish rounds out the taste experience.

The wine has good ageing potential and can gain complexity and develop its aromas over time.
